Compliance & Payment Service Provider Information

1. Payment Service Provider (PSP)

All payments and payouts on Treets.me are managed by Stripe, a regulated payment service provider authorized to operate in the European Union and globally.

Stripe, Inc. is registered as a Payment Institution in the EU and complies with relevant financial regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.

Treets.me does not directly process or store payment card details or sensitive banking information. All such data is handled securely by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS and GDPR standards.

2. KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering)

Creators are required to complete identity verification (KYC) before receiving payouts. This process is conducted by Stripe Identity, which may require government-issued identification, proof of address, and additional documentation.

Treets.me and Stripe may, in accordance with applicable laws, conduct further checks to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal activities.

Failure to comply with KYC/AML requests may result in account suspension, payout delays, or permanent blocking of funds as required by law.

3. Legal Obligations and Regulatory Reporting

Treets.me and its payment partners are obliged to comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to tax reporting, anti-fraud measures, and cooperation with competent authorities.

Transaction and payout records are retained for a minimum of 10 years in accordance with French and EU accounting regulations.

In the event of a legal investigation, we may be required to provide information to law enforcement or regulatory bodies, subject to due process and data protection laws.

4. Merchant Structure & Funds Flow

Merchant of record: InSugarWeTrust (SARL, France, SIREN 942 171 851) operates the Treets.me platform and acts as the merchant of record in relation to the payment service provider. Creators sell content through the platform under the terms agreed with InSugarWeTrust.

Funds flow: When a buyer pays for content, funds are received by the payment service provider (PSP). The PSP then settles according to its agreed schedule. Treets does not hold customer funds long-term; settlement and payouts are processed by the PSP.

Platform commissions: The platform commission is automatically deducted from each transaction. Creators receive the remainder (net of PSP processing fees) according to the payout terms of the PSP.

Creator payouts: Payouts are made by the PSP directly to the verified payout account of the creator. Payout accounts must belong to the verified creator and match the identity on file. Treets does not intermediate fund custody between buyer and creator beyond the flow described above.

5. Fraud Prevention & Chargeback Management

Treets.me monitors chargeback rates and other risk indicators in cooperation with our payment service provider. We are committed to maintaining acceptable risk thresholds and to complying with PSP and card scheme requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where fraud, excessive chargebacks, or other abuse is detected. Such measures may include withholding payouts, freezing funds, or permanent account closure as permitted by our Terms of Service and applicable law.

We cooperate fully with our payment providers on dispute resolution, chargeback response, and any investigations. We provide documentation and information as required to resolve disputes and protect the integrity of the payment flow.

Creators are responsible for ensuring that their content, listings, and conduct do not give rise to chargebacks or fraud. Repeated chargebacks or fraud-related activity may result in permanent exclusion from the platform.
